Species: Ball Python
Age: Adult
Sex: Unknown
About:
This ball python was one of two snakes surrendered to Roots, Rocks and Reptiles in February 2026 after their owner entered hospice care. Because the snakes were surrendered by a family member, little is known about their previous history. Upon arrival, it was dehydrated and experiencing shedding issues. After receiving regular hydration support and proper husbandry, it has shed successfully and is doing well.
This snake is somewhat shy and can be nervous when first handled, but it tolerates handling and continues to make progress with regular interaction. It would do best with an adopter who is patient and willing to help build its confidence.

Species: Bearded Dragon
Age: Adult (approximately 2 years old)
Sex: Unknown
About:
This bearded dragon was originally purchased from a pet store because it appeared underweight and in need of help. The owner planned to rehabilitate it and eventually find it a permanent home, and it was surrendered to us once it had regained good health.
This dragon is active, curious, and enjoys attention and interaction. It has an excellent appetite for insects and is always eager at feeding time. Like many bearded dragons, it can be selective about its greens, so its future adopter should be prepared to consistently offer a varied diet and encourage healthy eating habits. It would do best in a home that can provide plenty of enrichment, activity, and regular interaction.
Species: Bearded Dragon
Age: Juvenile when surrendered (estimated 4-12 weeks old)
Sex: Unknown
About:
Quasi came to us in January 2025 as a very young bearded dragon in critical condition. He was brought in with no known history and was severely malnourished, dehydrated, and too weak to move around on his own. His condition was so poor that his survival was uncertain.
After veterinary care, months of syringe feeding, hydration support, and ongoing rehabilitation, Quasi gradually regained his strength and mobility. Today he is active, alert, and enjoys exploring his enclosure.
Because of his difficult start in life, Quasi will never reach the size of a typical adult bearded dragon. However, he has overcome incredible odds and continues to thrive with proper care.
